    Founded in 2017 by Al Hallak, Pitch to Screen® is an LLC company and registered trademark. We offer a film festival and screening platform designed to celebrate outstanding independent films from around the world year-round, an education program providing the necessary knowledge to excel at each stage of the filmmaking process, and a production support hub providing consultation and resources for filmmakers seeking to bring their vision to life. Additionally, we showcase a magazine for indie news, a podcast featuring visionary filmmakers, and a store offering filmmaking essentials and branded merch.
  • Are you partnered or affiliated with other companies?
    Yes, we offer many of our services through our partners' platforms. In addition to our website powered by Wix and social media pages, we exclusively partner with the following platforms: FilmFreeway, Eventbrite, Spotify, SoundCloud, Backstage, Medium, and Spreadshirt. It's important to note that outside of these platforms, any use of our copyrighted content or trademark is strictly prohibited.
  • What types of production services do you provide?
    We offer comprehensive production services, covering everything from concept development to post-production, with a focus on the early stages of development and packaging. Please feel free to schedule a consultation session with us to discuss your specific needs.
  • How do I apply to be represented by your agency?
    We generally prioritize talent from within our network, but we're open to reviewing your profile for potential opportunities. Please feel free to email us your resume detailing your qualifications. Use 'Talent Submission' as the subject line.
  • Does you provide funding for movies?
    We do not finance movies in their entirety. However, in exceptional cases, we may invest in the early development stages of a film project.
  • Can I submit scripts or project proposals?
    We only accept submissions by invitation and do not consider unsolicited scripts or project proposals. However, we invite you to explore our classes, services, and festival for potential opportunities and offerings.
  • What kind of education services do you offer?
    We offer both hands-on masterclasses and courses that are designed to help participants master every aspect of the filmmaking process.
  • How can I find or register for an upcoming course?
    Our upcoming courses and classes are listed on our education page. To register, please follow the instructions provided.
  • Do you offer certificates for completing a course?
    Yes! Every participant who completes a masterclass or course will receive a certificate of completion.
  • Are there minimum age requirements to attend your courses?
    Participants must be at least 18 years old.​

    It’s a year-round curated showcase of outstanding films from around the world, featuring both in-theater and on-demand screenings, along with engaging Q&A sessions with the filmmakers. We feature films that have been selected at major film festivals, or those with high online viewership, network distribution, or strong critical reviews.
  • Are selected films screened at the Festival?
    Yes, all officially selected films are screened either in theaters or virtually on demand. Filmmakers will also have their works promoted on our platform.
  • Are you an Awards Show?
    Yes! The Pitch to Screen® Awards recognizes excellence in several categories. Awards in each category will be announced during the awards ceremony.
  • Where can I access the list of officially selected films?
    The list of officially selected films, nominees, and winners is exclusively published and verified in our magazine.
  • Where is the next awards ceremony?
    At the iconic Dolby® Theatre in New York City. Previous ceremonies were held at the American Film Institute Silver Theatre and Film at Lincoln Center.
  • Do you offer distribution opportunities?
