What is Pitch to Screen?

Founded in 2017 by Al Hallak, Pitch to Screen® is an LLC company and a registered trademark. We are a film festival and screening platform designed to celebrate and promote outstanding achievements in the cinematic arts, a film school offering the knowledge necessary to excel at each stage of the filmmaking process, and a production company that works alongside filmmakers from start to finish.

What kind of projects do you produce? 

We specialize in developing and producing film and television content. We have a team of industry experts and an extensive network allowing us to scale up for any project and create a wide variety of content.

Does Pitch to Screen® provide funding for movies?

We do not finance movies in their entirety. However, in exceptional cases, we may invest in the early development stages of a film project. 

What kind of education services do you offer?

We offer both hands-on workshops and online courses that are designed to help participants master every aspect of the filmmaking process.


How can I find or register for an upcoming Pitch to Screen® workshop?

Can I register for your courses via CourseHorse?

Yes. However, our cancellation policy applies to your purchase if you use CourseHorse to register for our courses. If you need help canceling or have any questions, please visit CourseHorse


Do you offer certificates for completing a course?

Yes! Every participant who completes a Pitch to Screen® workshop or course will receive a certificate of completion. 


Is Pitch to Screen® affiliated with other companies?

Yes. Our affiliated partners include global brands such as LinkedIn Learning, Envato Elements, and Fiverr Pro.


Can I contact the organizer of the workshop with questions?

Are there minimum age requirements to attend your courses?

Courses participants must be at least 18 years old.

What can/should I bring into the workshop?

You are not required to bring anything; we will provide all necessary educational materials and tools. 

What is the Pitch to Screen® Film Festival?

The Pitch to Screen® Festival celebrates the creation and advancement of innovative cinematic works from celebrated filmmakers and emerging talent.

Are selected films screened at the Festival?

All officially selected films are screened virtually on our festival platform. We also host Q&A sessions with the filmmakers. 


Are you an Awards Show?

Yes! The Pitch to Screen® Awards celebrates nominees in two main categories: Narrative Feature Film and Narrative Short Film. Nominees are given the opportunity to present their work during the Festival. 


When and where is the next Pitch to Screen® Awards Ceremony?

Friday, October 20th, 2023 in New York City. Previous ceremonies were held at the American Film Institute Silver Theatre and Film at Lincoln Center.


Does your Festival offer distribution opportunities?

We don’t offer distribution, but we do screen and promote our officially selected films throughout our platform, network, and on our social media pages.
